No, the decision is entirely up to you. You determine how long and to what extent you want to support our projects. Whether via standing order or through Liberapay – there are no hidden clauses or obligations, and you can easily cancel your support at any time.

A smaller, regular contribution that doesn’t financially burden you often has a greater impact than a larger, short-term contribution that might be stopped if unexpected expenses arise.

Especially medium- and long-term projects require significant planning and organizational efforts: qualified professionals must be recruited and trained, extensive materials developed, technical infrastructure adapted, and targeted measures must be implemented to promote the offerings and ensure their effective execution. Regular support ensures the necessary planning security to maintain and establish these projects in a stable and sustainable manner.

The concept of project sponsorship is designed precisely for this purpose: it allows for reliable funding of long-term projects and provides them with the stability they need. With continuous support, we can not only address immediate challenges but also create lasting positive changes.

We currently offer two options:

1. You can set up your project sponsorship via a traditional standing order. The advantage is that 100% of the contribution goes directly to the project without deductions. Use the provided account number and – very importantly – include the corresponding reference purpose in the description.

2. You can support the project through the crowdfunding platform LiberaPay. LiberaPay works with the payment provider Stripe, which offers various payment methods. A fee of 2-5% is deducted from each transaction, which is charged directly by Stripe.

LiberaPay is a non-profit platform specifically designed to support projects of organizations and individuals through regular, voluntary donations. Unlike one-time crowdfunding campaigns, LiberaPay focuses on continuous support, which stabilizes long-term projects and ensures planning security. Project patrons can contribute a freely chosen amount weekly, monthly, or annually. The platform does not charge any fees on donations and is funded exclusively through voluntary contributions.

We are an officially registered non-profit organization, so all donations to us are generally tax-deductible. Upon request, we will gladly issue a donation receipt so you can claim your support for tax purposes.
