1. Introduction
-
Project Description:
The workshop series „Architecture of Brain Mechanics" provides a thorough understanding of the biological, neurological, and psychological foundations that shape our thinking, feeling, and behavior. We explore the functioning of the brain as well as the causes and consequences of psychological stress, such as stress, unprocessed experiences, depression, and anxiety disorders. Modern influences such as diet-related neurodegenerative factors, excessive mobile phone use, and the impact of social media on mental health are also addressed. Another focus is on the challenges during pregnancy and early childhood development, whose mistakes can have long-term consequences for mental health. The goal of the workshop series is to provide comprehensive knowledge that serves both the prevention of mental disorders and the promotion of individual resilience. The practical content is specifically tailored to different life stages and target groups.
-
Background:
In modern society, the mechanisms of our mental health are increasingly under pressure. Psychological stress such as stress, unprocessed experiences, and social isolation have significantly increased in recent years. At the same time, the prevalence of depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and other mental health disorders has risen sharply, which not only affects individuals' quality of life but also has significant societal and economic consequences. Additional challenges such as excessive media consumption, unhealthy diets, and the constant flood of information strain the brain and exacerbate this issue. Children and adolescents are particularly vulnerable, as their neurological development can be negatively impacted by digital media and lack of emotional stability. A crucial but often underestimated factor is early childhood development, which begins during pregnancy. Mistakes or insufficient knowledge during this sensitive phase can have long-term effects on mental health.
-
Target Group:
The project is aimed at individuals who want to better understand the connection between their lifestyle and mental health. It particularly addresses:
- Private individuals who want to take preventive action,
- Parents and expectant parents who want to understand the basics of early childhood development in order to create a stable foundation for the mental health of children,
- Professionals in the healthcare and social sectors who want to expand their skills,
- Companies that wish to support their employees in the area of mental health.
